first I'd like to say that this is my first night on the board and I'm already having a good time. And second of all I think that really sucks how you got so much hate mail regarding issue #33, when I found it was a good break from the seriousness of this last part of Part 3. But I dunno, that's just me.
But basicly I wanted to thank you Terry for writing Yousaka Takahashi in Hirigana on the cover of SIP #29. For a couple of years now I have been self teaching myself to read Japanese, but for about half a year now I had quit due to depression in my life. I didn't want to do anything. But while I was reading "My Other Life" I noticed the Hirigana on the cover of number 29 and it sparked my interest again. Needless to say I felt very proud that I could translate Yousaka Takahashi without refering to my hirigana dictionary. So thanks alot. I'm back to teaching myself japanese now. Sorry if this whole story seems a bit lame but I really mean what I say.
p.s.- I'm also happy to learn that Katchoo knows how to speak japanese as well!

It is amazing what Katchoo knows... but she's so coy about her hidden talents. Welcome to the board!

No, but I'm sure Tambi could tell you what they for the next ten years worth of drawings. They specifically pick people who have never had any money before and go nuts buying junk and motorcycles and cruises and have family members who will come out of the woodwork for loans and lots of bitter infighting and a brother who milks the loans dry going through the money like it's water until the winner realises they've blown several millions on family members who won't pull their extended hands back in so there is an estrangement and the winner calms down and gets CPA's and attorneys to advise her on how to be responsible with what's left and seeks privacy in their new life style and ends up on Oprah talking about how winning the lottery ruined their life but you can tell they've matured and learned a hard lesson.
It's like a law of physics, it never fails.
